Agile Development

The fast pace of the digital world and the increasingly shortened product life cycles, especially in the front end of a software, present development projects with new, major challenges. How can we meet these diverse tasks and achieve efficient results? Our answer is: Agile ways of thinking and working. This includes key aspects such as team cohesion, values, feedback and personal responsibility, which are integrated into daily work.

We specialise in development according to Scrum and provide holistic teams that realise all phases of product development professionally and efficiently within the framework of the Lean Development approach. After a phase of requirements evaluation and documentation, the implementation can achieve maximum results with minimum effort. The Scrum framework includes certain events and deadlines that take place regularly and sometimes also require the presence of stakeholders from the customer side. A sprint is preceded by the respective planning, in which goals and tasks are defined. If necessary, refinement meetings can take place in which the so-called stories are refined and concretised. Then the actual technical implementation begins, which is presented and accepted at the end of a sprint in the review meeting. In daily, short stand-up meetings, the team can synchronise and keep track of the current status.

The core of the Scrum framework

The focus is on creating transparency, continuous testing and the resulting adaptation of the requirements and the procedure. The advantage for all parties involved is that a level of detail is achieved that enables high-quality implementation, which would be impossible to achieve in complex projects using a classic approach in advance.

The incremental and iterative sprint-based approach enables precisely this continuous concretisation in order to arrive at an ideal product. The requirements in the product backlog are recorded and prioritised as user stories. Some of them are regularly transferred to the sprint backlog for implementation. Atlassian Jira and Confluence for documentation have established themselves as tools for this.

A high frequency of implementations and acceptances ensures that those responsible for the project and other stakeholders always have a comprehensive and up-to-date picture of both the quantitative and qualitative progress of the project.

This approach also enables us to react quickly and flexibly to the wishes or criticism of our clients. Optimal adaptation to the requirements of the project stakeholders and optimised use of the systems are thus guaranteed.
