IT Specialist Application Development

Our team is heading into the future – will you be there? We are looking for IT Specialist - Application Development apprentices for our Gifhorn and Hanover locations as of 01.08.2025.

With us, you are a welcomed, fully-fledged team member right from the start. After an induction phase, you will soon be able to work on your own exciting tasks and, depending on your level of knowledge, take an active role in supporting our developers in their projects.

During your apprenticeship with us, everything will revolve around the development of software products. You will learn how to develop IT projects as part of a team to meet customer requirements and how to use various programming languages and tools. Your training with us will of course be carried out in accordance with the IHK training framework plan by our certified trainers.

You will familiarise yourself with all aspects and phases of the product life cycle, from planning and collaboration with the design team to development and operation. You have the chance to actively participate in the development of user-friendly applications, implement responsive templates and modules and learn how to use modern frameworks and libraries.

The training programme includes both the development of the front end of applications (the visible surface, the user interface) and the back end development (the functions in the background). Depending on your interests, you can specialise in one of these two areas.

  • you have or will soon have a secondary school leaving certificate or the Abitur (A-levels)
  • you have at least satisfactory grades in mathematics, computer science and English
  • you have perhaps already gained some experience in development
  • a careful approach to work and a willingness to learn are a matter of course for you
  • you can work independently and reliably in a team
  • you have a logical mind and a keen interest in technology
  • we offer you a responsible and varied apprenticeship at our sites in Gifhorn and Hanover
  • you have good chances of being taken on by us if you perform well
  • you can expect a pleasant working atmosphere, a familiar environment and nice colleagues
  • you will work on varied projects for well-known brands
